Attributes Continuous Innovation and Providing Customers with Business Value to its 9,876% Percent Revenue Growth
Santa Clara, Calif., October 26, 2006 – Ketera, the leading provider of On Demand Spend Management solutions, has ranked third among software and information technology companies on Deloitte′s prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley, a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP, one of the nation′s leading professional services organizations. Rankings are based on the percentage revenue growth over five years from 2001–2005.
Ketera′s CEO Burton M. Goldfield credits continuous innovation and a maniacal focus on creating business value as the reasons for the company′s 9,876 percent revenue growth from 2001–2005. Ketera′s increase in revenues of 9,876 percent from 2001 to 2005 resulted in a number three ranking in the Software & Information Technology category of the Technology Fast 50 for Silicon Valley.
To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, and be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company′s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies′ technology or intellectual property in a unique way did not qualify.
This year′s Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 program was co–presented by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Silicon Valley Bank, Cooly Godward Kronish LLP, Korn/Ferry International and Porsche Motorsports.
