Program Reaffirms Ketera′s Commitment to Provide Mid–Market Customers with Cost–Effective Procurement Solutions, On Demand
Santa Clara, Calif., January 18, 2005 – Ketera Technologies Inc., the leading provider of on demand procurement solutions, today announced the Ketera Sourcing Partner Program, its first reseller partner program. Aimed at increasing Ketera′s reach to the mid–market, the program utilizes the expertise of industry specific professional services and sourcing companies.
For its new program, Ketera is targeting professional service and sourcing partners that deliver additional services beyond procurement, such as expense reporting and other operational functions. Because the implementation time for Ketera′s solution is minimal compared to most software packages, partners can focus on offering customers a wide range of services, giving the customer the added benefit of working with one partner for all of their non–core mission critical processes needs. "Our mid–market customers don′t typically have large sourcing departments, yet they still need to be just as cost efficient and agile as their larger, enterprise competitors. We view Ketera as a strategic partner because they allow us to combine leading edge technology with our strategic sourcing services to create a world–class capability for our customers," said Steven Belli, CEO, Source One Management Services. "Ketera offers tools previously unavailable to the mid–market – from spend analysis, RFI and reverse auctioning to contract management and e–procurement – and we see them as our first choice in terms of what we introduce to our customers."
Ketera′s Sourcing Partner Program is part of the company’s strategy to target the mid–market, following the successful launch of its Express line of procurement services specifically for small and medium–sized businesses. The company expects to have 20 US–based resellers in its program by year’s end.
"We′ve been extremely successful helping our enterprise customers manage more than $132B of corporate spend with our on demand procurement services and want to deliver the same benefits to small and medium–sized businesses," said Steve Savignano, CEO of Ketera Technologies. "We believe partnering with industry specific professional services and sourcing companies that have expertise working with customers in this market is the most effective approach for us." Based on partner participation, Ketera partners will be rewarded for deals on both a volume and account value basis. In addition to the new Ketera Sourcing Partners, the company has had long–standing, strategic partnerships with IBM and American Express. |
