Epiphany Supply Chain Solutions to Run its GPO Business on the Ketera Network

Purchasing portal will deliver pre-negotiated pricing in selected categories


San Jose, Calif., Jan 21, 2010 - Ketera, provider of the online Ketera Network business community, today announced that Epiphany Supply Chain Solutions, a provider of procurement and supply chain related services, has selected the Ketera Network as the platform to manage transactions for its no-membership-fee Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). The Ketera Network will enable the Epiphany Buying Portal to manage purchasing transactions of mid-sized businesses and is expected to be operational in January 2010.

The Epiphany Buying Portal on the Ketera Network is an online procurement site that provides pre-negotiated advantageous pricing for a selected group of categories to its GPO customers based on aggregated buying volume with certain suppliers. Epiphany has already signed contracts with recognized industry-leading suppliers to offer preferred pricing to its customers in categories such as janitorial and packaging supplies, green cleaning products, office supplies, computers and peripherals, and Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO). Since the Epiphany Buying Portal is based on the Ketera Network Procurement solution and integrated into the Ketera Network, customers can combine their online purchases from the Epiphany GPO suppliers and the Ketera Network suppliers into a single shopping cart.
